Getaway Proposal

Rohan and Lavanya rented a cabin for a quiet weekend away from the rush of city life. Little did Lavanya know (but maybe secretly hoping) this would be the time Rohan had chosen for a surprise proposal alongside Lester Lake in Grand Junction, Michigan. The two have been sweethearts since their teens and although Lavanya suspected it may be coming, she was very elated the day had arrived. Although the minuscule black flies threatened to ruin the event with their ravenous appetite, the couple had thought to use some bug spray (unlike this photographer) to ward off the annoying creatures. The warm and beautiful sunset set the background for this sweet proposal.
