Alexandria’s Family Photoshoot (with a Surprise Ending)

Alexandria and her family came up to South Haven, Michigan from St. Louis for a vacation by the beach. I met with the family on a beautiful morning (what other kind is there when you’re on Lake Michigan in July?). It’s always fun to photograph in new locations when I’m by the Lake. The families rental unit had this beautiful beach and right next door was a small public beach with a cool wooden stairway. So tell me, when is a better time to propose to your girlfriend than when you’re on a family vacation in Michigan. And a proposal we did have! It went without a hitch and she said YES!!
