A Proposal on North Beach, South Haven

One of the top reasons I love to photograph surprise proposals is the show of true emotions. There’s no faking it when you have to answer the question, “will you marry me”?

Fortunately, and not surprisingly, Samantha gave John a resounding YES! Unbeknownst to Samantha, her family were all in on it and were hiding out on the beach. This is not an easy thing to pull off on an open beach but they pulled it off (almost…grandma!!). Sam was overwhelmed with shear joy, as was John. After the proposal, we headed to a lake cottage to do a few more photos.
